With the signing of a new law H.R. 2642, that was enacted on June 30th, many more veterans will be eligible for a great increase in funding to support education interests on the undergraduate, graduate or vocational/technical levels. The annual education benefit will rise to about $19,600. It will also provide funding for books, supplies and equipment and additional funds would be available for tutorial assistance as well as for licensure and certification tests. This is long overdue for the men and women who so bravely serve our country. These benefits become available for anyone pursuing their education after August 1, 2009. The benefits are available to all military members who have served on active duty since September 11, 2001!!
For those ready for college, but a bit younger perhaps than our military vets, getting ready for either the SATs or ACTs this year, you might want to take a prep course to help raise those scores. Well, check out www.schoolsoup.com, for a $100 discount on ANY Princeton Review SAT or ACT test prep course.
